how does ticketing work?

Music + Camping tickets are PER PERSON. Every camper, over the age of 12, even if you are sharing a tent with someone else, will need a MUSIC + CAMPING ticket.

Children 12 and under are FREE!

Music Only Tickets are for those that are not camping on site and only coming to enjoy the music.

Where else do you recommend staying if we don’t want to Camp?

The closest hotel is the Best Western in Monticello - approximately 7 miles away from Hidden Ridge. We have reserved a block of rooms for the festival. Mention you are attending the Sleeping in the Woods festival at Hidden Ridge to receive the best rate!

Or check out Golden Pond Resort - they offer cabin rentals and are very close to Hidden Ridge!

how does camping work?

If you want to park directly next to your campsite, you will need to add the "Car Camping" Add On ticket. This Add On ticket is PER CAR. Otherwise, you will be directed to a parking area and will hike, no more than 300 feet to your campsite.

Do you offer refunds?

This event is RAIN OR SHINE. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather. All sales are final.

Will there be food and beverages for sale?

Food will be available for purchase (cash is preferred) but you are allowed to bring food to your camping area.

Alcohol will be available for purchase. Outside alcohol will be allowed at your campsite, but outside alcohol will NOT be permitted in the stage viewing area within Burnt Rock.

What if we want to camp next to our friends?

Campsites are first come, first serve - if you want to be guaranteed to camp next to your friends, please arrive together.

Can we have a fire at our campsite?

Fires are only allowed at your campsite if you bring a STAND-ALONE fire pit that keeps the logs ABOVE the grass. You may not create a fire-pit that leaves a mark. If you are caught burning our grass, your tickets may be revoked and you will be asked to leave. Firewood will be available for purchase on site - however you are allowed to bring your own firewood.

What is the toilet / shower situation at HIdden ridge?

Both flushable toilets AND hot showers will be available and are within walking distance to the camping area.

Is this event dog friendly?

Dogs are permitted, but must be kept on a leash at all times. If your pet becomes aggressive, disruptive, or a general pain in everyone's ass, you and your pet will kindly be asked to leave.

What items do you recommend we bring to make our experience better?

Camping chair, flashlights / headlamps, blankets, cash for food or beer and an overall positive attitude!

Are there some items that are prohibited?

Firearms, fireworks, illegal drugs, contraband and all negative, grumpy, entitled and in general poor attitudes - leave that sh%& at home!
